On January 6, Donald Trump incited a mob of insurrectionists that descended on our nation’s Capitol building.
This week, Republican Senators had an opportunity to hold Trump accountable for his role in encouraging violence and undermining our democracy. They failed to do so. Once again their actions prove that they prioritize party over country.
So now, we must hold them accountable at the ballot box.
