Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service
The National Day of Service for the Inauguration of President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris will celebrate and honor the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 18, 2021. The National Day of Service is an opportunity for all Americans to unite and serve at a time when the global pandemic calls on all of us to work together and support our communities.
Letter Writing Virtual Service Project
As part of Biden-Harris Presidential Inaugural Committee’s National Day of Service, Women for Biden-Harris is coming together virtually nationwide to create cards for patients recovering from COVID-19 and write letters to seniors in nursing homes.
Participants will be responsible for obtaining their own paper or cards, envelopes, writing instruments (pens/markers etc.), and postage. The Women for Biden-Harris team will provide mailing addresses and inspiration.
Everyone is invited to participate.
